Damselfly's history hints that she started out as Dragonfly's sidekick (like Hawkgirl to Hawkman) in the Silver Age, but became a solo hero in the Bronze Age, jettisoning Dragonfly. Her history within the comic would not describe it in this way, of course, but her character's story follows this meta-journey, if that makes any sense.<br /><br />I'm toying with the idea of sidebaring some (space permitting) to distinguish for some characters how they were when they first appeared versus how they are at the point of the Who's Who, to give GM's more options.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04647628467658839351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8302487761596456689.post-24941783492112418032018-08-09T17:32:00.187-04:002018-08-09T17:32:00.187-04:00"Which is to say, I wrote it like incongruiti..."Which is to say, I wrote it like incongruities were being smoothed over."<br /><br />This sounds very cool. Can you give an example? It sounds like you especially did this for Damselfly? (Possibly mimicking the way Hawkgirl's backstory kept getting retconned.)Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15493700749333105771noreply@blogger.com
