Now, Priest's "Clockwork Century" series starting with Boneshaker is indeed steampunk and worth checking out.

@Jim - Probably more harpy than thunderbird, but that's an interesting association.

@Roger - That's a good thought! The underground here isn't that extensive, but I'd love to see the story you suggest.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04647628467658839351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8302487761596456689.post-20800639612774030012011-12-11T18:42:08.932-05:002011-12-11T18:42:08.932-05:00Silver John finds K'n-yan ...Silver John finds K'n-yan ...Roger G-Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594440701279968693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8302487761596456689.post-65471078452509878512011-12-11T14:56:30.269-05:002011-12-11T14:56:30.269-05:00This synopsis has given me the urge to go spelunki...This synopsis has given me the urge to go spelunking, hopefully I won't run into any dangers.Sub Radar (Mike)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15558160466204000617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8302487761596456689.post-88859834011452834632011-12-11T13:11:15.725-05:002011-12-11T13:11:15.725-05:00I think we've got that at my local library. It blends horror, science fiction and the western in a completely unique way.

I'm glad for the tip on this one...I just wondered how much steampunk aspect this one has, if any.xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17814063435676111475noreply@blogger.com
