Great stuff. Especially like the ad.

How many papers does the City have?

Gil Elvgren. A man after my own heart. :)

All of these are perfectly suitable for my Golden Age supers setting. Well, most of your City stuff can be adapted. The only reason I'd hesitate is because I'd love to save it for if/when I run The City for real.

Trey is a genius. This are awesome. "Slime's no longer a threat, citizens! Beware of the hobgoblins, though, they still are!"

Thanks guys!

Scott, your comment reminds me I didn't give Elvgren his due--the painting is "At Your Service" from 1962.

@Seaofstarsrpg - I'm not sure of the exact number, but counting city-wide papers, barony-specific ones, and ones catering to specific ethnic groups, its over 100.

I found a torrent of vintage advertising images, including some things that with small alterations or explanations would be right at home in the city. Would you be interested in getting a copy of these?

Sure! That would be great.

It took a while to find somewhere to host it, but here you go, 200+ MB of old advertisements. http://ge.tt/#2ItInaI

It is a zip file, the site just clipped the name. The original torrent is one a private tracker, thus the rehosting. Not all look like City material, but I thought some of them looked quite good. Let me know if you use any- It is taking me a while to catch up, I'm only on post #200.

Will do. Thanks again!
