Another Friday Map

This map from Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld throws realism completely out the window. In later stories, Gemworld becomes an actual planet. I think this was better.

Here's some details about Gemworld and points of interest.

I like this, largely because, as you say, it throws realism completely out the window. That can be quite good for the soul sometimes.

Agreed. Let us embrace fantasy and magic! Sometime the fantastic is all a world needs.

Wait. The gem skull doesn't have a grill?

Who needs a real map when you got that crazy fingerprint tattoo dude in the corner?

I've been thinking about doing a series of Gemworld posts for a while--thanks in large part to your efforts Trey with the Warlord posts! The only thing holding me back is not having scans of enough interior pages of the issues.

With our kiddo's arrival in late July, I've been thinking a LOT about Gemworld as a setting for her to learn how to play RPGs. Seems like a perfect fit!

I think a Gemworld series would be great. Maybe you'll be able to come across some scans.
