Meet Mortzengersturm in pdf!

The wait is over! Mortzengersturm, The Mad Manticore of the Prismatic Peak for 5e is out today on pdf. The adventure's got eight pregenerated characters (the one's I used in the convention game), about a dozen new(ish) monsters, and a center spread boardgame map!  The digital version contains some exclusive extras: Gus L's map of Yanth Country and a brief gazetteer, and a short excerpt from The Cloud Castle of Azurth.

Go get it!

This looks amazing.

I run 0e. Any tips on how I could convert this to 0e?

Would it be hard/easy?

I think I would purchase it if I felt I could run it in 0e.

Thanks!

Given that all iterations of D&D share the same language and 0e is less complicated than 5e, it wouldn't be too difficult. Only the new monsters would present any problem, and those can probably be easily converted by comparing them to monsters that are in both. Early versions were playtested in Swords & Wizardry.

That's great to read.

Any chance you will ever publish the S&W version?

That would really be worth waiting for.

Otherwise, sounds like with a little work I could go ahead and use it.

Thanks.

I don't have any plans for it, though I suppose I could always post some notes on the blog.

Well, it goes without saying that I would find that awesome.

I hope it would also help other potential buyers.

I have this on my list to purchase in May.

Gotta wait for my "hobby budget" to fill back up!

Thanks again.
