I had hoped to show an example of the layout for the front (fluff) and back (game stats) of the pages in the Armchair Planet Who's Who today, but unfortunately, I was only able to get the front page finished to my satisfaction. Hopefully, I'm have the back page with ICONS stats up in a post later this week.

I love the looks of all these supers, reminds me of Freedom Force quite a bit. I'm kind of a comic neophyte - what lines or ages of comics should I be looking at for this kind of super?
ReplyDeleteWhile there are multiple inspirations, these are probably most inspired by DC Comics of the 70s and pre-Crisis 80s (though it varies character to character).
ReplyDeleteThis particular artist is very John Byrne inspired, though. He was at Marvel in the 70s and went to DC in the 80s.
