@Kyana and Claudius - Those likely forthcoming, later this week.
@Jensenator - The Dark Sun cover uses Marvin (which I could find in digital font, so I cobbled the word together from printed sources) and Serif Gothic. The Ravenloft cover uses Ravenscroft (which is a digital adaptation of Rubens) and a Franklin Gothic (I think, it was just something suitably san serify I had at hand).
In all seriousness, I love these so much...brings up all sorta of warm fuzzy memories of combing through used bookstores in Montana for summer reading material on Flathead Lake.
I would buy both of these in a heartbeat if they were actual books...totally in my wheelhouse for genre, tone, and artwork. A very lurid groove. I dig it. ; )
Looks nice. Can you try Planescape or Spelljammer?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see this done for Planescape and Spelljammer.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff - what fonts did you use?
ReplyDeleteYou got me good on Twitter with this!

Yes!!
ReplyDelete@Possum - I'm a tricky one!
ReplyDeleteThat Ravenloft one is esp good looking!
ReplyDeleteDark Sun has always seemed ripe for sword and planet gaming. Your cover just proves it further thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat works! Specially for Dark Sun.
ReplyDeleteShouldn’t that say “ravished by sorcery?”
