A Brief Programming Note

I'm out of town conventioning for the next few days--navigating the Scylla and Charybdis of Big Pharma and the occasional protester--so my posts may be thinner.  By the end of the week, I expect to be back to my regular schedule.

For today, please enjoy this interesting bit of Bronze Age comic book cartography from Atlas Comics' Wulf the Barbarian #3 (1975):

  2. Good luck, good hunting and return safely. Bet you get some good ideas for future posts while you're in the midst of such things...

  4. I love that kind of map. Although I get the utility of the hex-map, I don't find it aesthetically pleasing. But I used to draw maps like Wulf's all the time as kid--sketch out a coastline (make sure to have some islands and a large, inland sea), draw in some names, and there ya go.

  5. Yeah, that's my preferred style of map as well. I don't really need continental hex maps.
